Hey Roger,

I'm glad you got it working!

You're right, the current version of flock.ugen.playBuffer is a bit limited. I just finished up a sound installation where I needed to play back audio files with a bit more control, and in the process added several more features to it, including the ability to trigger playback and the ability to set in and out points. It's currently located in the improved-buffers branch, but I'll merge it into master as soon as I can.

Thanks for the offer to help, too. That's awesome! I think the best way to get started is, as you're using Flocking, to pick something that you're interested in or need for your project and take a stab at implementing it. I'm happy to help explain how the system works as you go, and I've been planning to post a "how to add unit generators" tutorial to the wiki, so this should give me some motivation.

Colin

I also tried .play(0.5) --according to the documentation it supposedly accepts a 'dur' parameter, although I don't see it implemented (by that I don't mean it's note there)--.

I'm not a coding guru and just got into JS a few weeks ago, but I've done some things in Supercollider and plenty in Java and C++. I can't devote a great deal of time, but I'd like to use the library for an app I was commissioned. So if I can contribute in any way on improving it, please let me know.
