Hi there,

As I was looking around for some examples of inline edit today, Google
brought me to Flickr. It reminded me that there are a lot of great
screenshots of user interfaces in Flickr that may be helpful when we
are trying to think of applications that have certain interactions. I
was even able to link directly to some of the Flickr screenshots at
the bottom of the InLine Edit Competitive Analysis page (http://wiki.fluidproject.org/display/fluid/Inline+Edit+Benchmarking+-+Competitive+Analysis
). We may at some point want to think about keeping our own collection
of competitive analysis screenshots on Flickr, both to help others and
because there are some really cool features like the ability to
annotate photos (see http://www.flickr.com/photos/natekoechley/47354002/)
.

Here are a couple of the best Flickr pattern collections I've run
across, which I also linked on the Design Patterns page (http://wiki.fluidproject.org/display/fluid/Design+Patterns
) under "UI Design Pattern Libraries."

factoryjoe's Design Patterns on Flickr
Matthias Wagler's UI Design Patterns on Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/matthiaswagler/collections/72157603653520720/

Cheers,
Allison
