Hi all,
Last Friday I attended "User Research Friday" (http://userresearchfriday.com/
) in San Francisco. There were some great speakers...Indy Young talked
about mental models, and her talk was a really nice complement to the
UIE seminar we recently watched her give on this topic (http://www.uie.com/events/virtual_seminars/indi_young/
).
But my favorite by far was the talk given by Dan Saffer, author of
"Designing for Interaction." It a very tongue in cheek talk entitled,
"How to Lie with Design Research." It's highly entertaining and I
recommend checking it out when you would like to both laugh and learn
about performing user research. :)
