I happened to stumble upon this application last night and thought  
some of you may be interested.

Basically it allows you to sync files across computers and works for  
Mac, Windows, and Linux.

Some of the features include
- automatic syncing of files across machines
- version control
- recovering deleted files
- public folder
- viewing files online
- making files accessible via url

It is free for 2GB of storage. It looks like files are locally and  
remotely stored.
