Hi Michael,
At minimum I can provide slides and a recorded summary for the Council.

Hi Cheryl, Ned,
Thanks for letting us know.
In lieu of attending and presenting, would the IDRC be able to supply 5-7 slides that would provide a general overview of the technical Kit work? The Council I know would love to see something like that.
Trebor, please feel free to jump in on what these could cover, but some suggestions:
-- overview of IDRC + team working on KIT
-- summary of work from July '18 to date
-- strategy and approach in this work
-- learning commons
-- dashboard
-- further identified shared needs/lesson from across pilot groups
-- looking ahead/future directions
Let us know if this would be possible.
My best,
Michael

Hi Trebor and Michael,
After discussing this with Ned and making a clear list of priorities before the conference, we’re sad to say that it would be ambitious of us to include the board meeting our list of responsibilities - we wouldn’t want to over-commit to things as that may be irresponsible to our other commitments. We hope that the board meeting goes well, and look forward to connecting in person soon.
Best,
Cheryl

Thanks Cheryl! Yes, I think it would be a good opportunity to excite our Council about the Kit, so that they can understand it a bit more and have it in mind and make connections (for more funding, for allied partners, etc) in their various networks.
I agree with Trebor re 10 minutes -- and maybe 3-5 slides for texture. That would make for a great contribution!

Hi Cheryl,
This would be you talking for 10 minutes about your work on the Kit.
They'd ask questions.
It's fairly informal and the atmosphere would be supportive.

Hi Trebor,
Jutta mentioned that she’s potentially looking to Ned and I to fill in her spot at the PCC Board meeting. Before Ned and I gauge whether we can commit from a capacity point of view, could you tell us a bit about the expectations of our participation? Would we have to prepare anything?
Best,
Cheryl
