Hi Danny,

Thanks so much for sharing this! This looks like a really interesting session, I know Taiwan is doing great work in terms of democratizing tech in the Civic Tech scene as well. Unfortunately we’re tied up today during this time, but we’ll keep an eye out for the recording.

Best,
Cheryl

Subject: [platform-coop-dev-kit] On governance -- invite for tomorrow

Hi, Cheryl & Ned and everyone

At the end of our session in NYC last fall, we talked about adopting and adapting cooperative governance for the toolkit effort.

To continue that thread, I'm inviting you all to a session tomorrow at 12pm Eastern with folks from www.VTaiwan.tw<http://www.VTaiwan.tw> and PublicLab.org on the topic of distributed governance.

Our question: "What kind of governance do startups need for communities to take on decisions, work, & reward?" We'll talk about case studies of networks finding aims, agreements, rules, and more necessary to make safer spaces, make decisions, and make facilitation work cooperatively. This session is co-organized with Nathan Schneider and with Mara Zepeda of zebrasunite.com<http://zebrasunite.com>.

RSVP to join or to get the recording and resources here<https://www.colorado.edu/lab/medlab/2020/04/17/exit-community-distributed-governance>!

Warmly,
Danny
