Hi Avtar,

My responses below.

Thanks!

Dana

1. What is the site’s goal? What does it need to do?

  *
Easy access to useful resources developed or linked as part of the project
     *
Resources should be front and center
  *
Invite participation in the project
     *
Make it clear how to get involved, how to find and use the resources and how to provide feedback about them
  *
Communicate the purpose/goal as it relates to informal learning and learning difference, activism, youth
  *
Immediately communicate a message of - this site is for YOU, it is YOURS / OURS
  *
A collective call to action? But clear that that action is about/benefits all of us (i.e. rather than - you need to do something about the problem OUT THERE)
  *
Communicate the activities of the project / the partners
  *
Easy way to get/stay connected (email list?)

2. Who do you feel will be using the site?

  *
Young people
  *
Students in formal school and out
  *
Social activists
  *
Teachers
  *
Youth organisers / groups

3. What feelings should someone have after using the site?

  *
Connectedness / not alone
  *
Belief that positive change is possible / is happening
  *
Encouraged
  *
Excited about possibilities
  *
Inspired
  *
Collective ownership (of the site, the resources etc)
  *
A positive sense of responsibility (to the site, to the work) - related to collective ownership
  *
Feel the (presence of a) movement - connection to something larger than itself

4. What words would you use to describe an ideal look and feel for the site?

  *
Inviting
  *
Colourful
  *
Fun and playful yet seriously getting things done
  *
Multi-modal, multi-cultural, multi-lingual (embodying one size fits one)

1. What is the site’s goal? What does it need to do?

2. Who do you feel will be using the site?

3. What feelings should someone have after using the site?

4. What words would you use to describe an ideal look and feel for the site?

Thanks!
