Here’s a short article in MIT Technology Review about an early experiment with moving an AI system for medical diagnosis into actual medical clinics:

It’s not very detailed, but it provides some nice illustrations of how AI interacts with existing networks of expertise and infrastructure. However, there’s no reflection on whether the system’s accuracy was worsened due to variations within visitors to medical clinics.
