[Wecount] Microsoft Accessible AI preparation

Hi all,

Because I critiqued Microsoft’s application process for the AI accessibility fund, I’m helping to create the next competition. One of the areas they will be looking for is how to create an employment system that is adapted to the lives of people with disabilities that will then also benefit all employment systems. I’m not excluded from applying. A platform coop would be a great example. 

The preparation for this will be a focus group with 50 people attending, to brainstorm possible collaborations for this funding round. The registration form asks the 50 attendees what they are interested in. The options were a constrained choice versus an open field. The concern was that the open field would take too much time to analyze. I offered to provide help in analyzing the responses. I think it would be a rich source of data for current concerns about future of work, AI and disability. I hope this is ok.
