On behalf of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research’s Institute of Population and Public Health (CIHR-IPPH) and Wellcome, in partnership with CIHR’s Institute of Circulatory and Respiratory Health (CIHR-ICRH), Institute of Indigenous Peoples’ Health (CIHR-IIPH); and CIFAR, we are looking forward to meeting with you all virtually next week from Monday, May 17 -  Thursday, May 20, 2021, for our joint symposium, “Ethical, Social and Political Challenges of Using Artificial Intelligence in Health.”

This is the second and final planned networking event focused on connecting international researchers interested in the ethical, social and political implications of AI in health. This event is designed to be a continuous dialogue over the four days, and we look forward to your perspectives and participation throughout the week.

At this point, you will have received calendar invitations to the four-day symposium event for virtual sessions on May 17-20, 2021 between 4-6pm GMT/8-10am PT/10am-12pm CT/11am-1pm ET to accommodate for time zone differences.
